Account Specialist, Central

Job Description:The Account Specialist actively identifies, pursues, and engages in building relationships with current and new distributors. The Account Specialist must have LED display industry and market knowledge and be able to effectively communicate the Company’s brand and product value in such a way as to elicit a favorable reaction from the target customer.

Essential Functions:

·       Extensive knowledge and experience in the LED display distribution market, providing market insights to US sales and marketing departments.

·       Fosters and develops relationships with current and potential customers.

·       Train and educate customers’ sales and engineering team to get knowledge of Absen solutions.

·       Provide sales quotes and sales tools to customers for Absen projects.

·       Integral role in key project demo shoot-out, travel with sales team and present product solutions, benefits, and analyze customer needs and project info.

·       Attends trade shows, training, conferences, and events to promote the company to customers and its end users.

·       Must have excellent communication skills, and the ability to build report quickly.

·       Must be persistent and disciplined in all work.

·       Host RS clients to visit HQ and factory in China.

·       Able to handle a fast pace and high volume of activity.

·       Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Competencies:

·       Strong technical background with hands-on experience on LED display and related peripheral equipment.

·       Teamwork and communication skills.

·       Ability to work in and maintain performance expectations in high-pressure environment. 

·       Excellent client orientation around problem-solving and delivering solutions.

·       Must have a positive and upbeat attitude.

·       Ability to take initiative and seek out new business.

·       Ability to maintain and develop relationships with current clients.

·       Ability to build rapport quickly.

·       Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Education & Experience Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s degree or above with a major in Engineering, Business Administration, or Business Management.

·       Sales and Engineering or Project Management background in LED display industry/AV industry. 

·       Min 5 years of experience in the LED display industry/AV industry.

Physical Requirements:

·       Must be able to lift, up to 20lbs consecutively.

Work Location:

·       Remote

·       Travel to Orlando Office and Warehouse, as needed. 

Working hours:

·       May be required to work overtime and flexible hours on an as-needed basis.

Travel:

·       May be required to travel (domestic and international) throughout the year for business meetings, trade shows, training, demos, and other business-related events.

·       Must have a valid drivers’ license.

Compensation range:

·       Our total compensation range with sales commission/bonus opportunity for this position is $115k to $125K, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
